It was a short cross country timing season with only three meets on the schedule. We timed meets at New Holstein, Winneconne (Lake Breeze GC) and Waupaca, each using a setup of IPICO Lite RFID system with shoe chips with SprintTimer running on my phone as a backup. Through the three meets, we had 100% reads! We did have the occasional runner who lost their chip during the race, but we were able to quickly find them using the backup system to get their finish time. Overall, it was a very fun and enjoyable season and we look forward to next fall and possibly getting some more meets on the schedule!
